About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in leading and delivering Clinical Pharmacy services to our specialist clinical area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to patients and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Lead and develop relevant clinical/pharmaceutical audit and research.
  • Manage and supervise the duties of Pharmacists, Pre-registration Pharmacists, and ward support technicians within the clinical team.
  • Support the medicines information services and training pharmacy staff to deliver these services.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the Pharmacy Vision and Values Strategy.
Requirements
  • A vocational Master's degree in Pharmacy plus pre-registration training resulting in registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacist.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy qualification or proven level of equivalent experience.
  • Previous hospital Pharmacy experience as a Clinical Pharmacist (minimum of four years post qualification including a minimum of 12 months post qualification experience in relevant specialist area).
  • Previous experience of supervising/mentoring junior colleagues.
