About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist in Family Services. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver clinical pharmacy services in a specialist area, providing expert pharmaceutical advice to patients and healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver clinical pharmacy services in Family Services, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
  • Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring safe and effective medication use.
  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy services, including medicines reconciliation and one-stop dispensing.
  • Supervise and mentor junior colleagues, promoting professional development and excellence in practice.
  • Contribute to the development of the Pharmacy Vision and Values Strategy, aligning with the Trust's goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Vocational Master's degree in Pharmacy, plus pre-registration training and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience as a Clinical Pharmacist, with a minimum of four years post-qualification experience and 12 months in a relevant specialist area.
  • Previous experience of supervising and mentoring junior colleagues.
