Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist in Family Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative department, providing expert pharmaceutical advice to patients and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

Main Duties
  • Provide advanced clinical pharmacy services to patients in the Family Services Directorate.
  • Lead and deliver clinical pharmacy services to named specialist clinical areas.
  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor junior colleagues, including pharmacists and pre-registration pharmacists.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • A vocational Master's degree in Pharmacy plus pre-registration training resulting in registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacist.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy qualification or proven level of equivalent experience.
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience as a Clinical Pharmacist (minimum of four years post qualification including a minimum of 12 months post qualification experience in relevant specialist area).
  • Previous experience of supervising / mentoring junior colleagues.
