Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our Family Services Directorate as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist. This role will involve providing expert pharmaceutical advice to patients and other members of the multidisciplinary team, leading and delivering Clinical Pharmacy services to named specialist clinical areas, and developing relevant clinical/pharmaceutical audit and research.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced clinical pharmacy services to patients and other healthcare professionals
  • Lead and deliver Clinical Pharmacy services to named specialist clinical areas
  • Develop and implement clinical/pharmaceutical audit and research projects
  • Supervise and mentor junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians

Requirements

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy qualification or equivalent experience
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience as a Clinical Pharmacist (minimum of four years post-qualification)
  • Previous experience of supervising/mentoring junior colleagues
