In this role, you will oversee revenue and profitable growth of programs and services for both local and global key accounts. Employing a consultative sales methodology, you will cultivate relationships with existing clients by implementing system assurance programs tailored to their critical business requirements. With strong account management skills, you will also convert strategic competitive accounts and introduce innovative technologies to current clients.

You will manage an account portfolio while collaborating closely with a dynamic team to conduct regular technical service visits for utility systems across Manufacturing, Food and Beverage, and Institutional sectors.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Driving Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) initiatives at each site, focusing on both organic growth and new prospects.
  • Ensuring compliance across the designated territory.
  • Coordinating both internal and third-party activities at assigned customer locations.
  • Providing support and mentorship within a small team.
  • Creating and executing sales strategies to capitalize on new opportunities within the existing customer base and major competitive accounts, aiming to achieve defined profit growth targets.
  • Engaging with large, strategic current and prospective clients to identify business needs and propose continuous improvement and innovation strategies that will enhance sales within the assigned territory.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and prospective client organizations, including plant or facility executives, while collaborating with corporate managers to implement the global strategy and local area plans.
  • Conducting problem-solving through system analysis, data interpretation, and providing actionable recommendations to ensure optimal customer operations.
  • Demonstrating the capability to stabilize at-risk business in large, strategic accounts.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive base salary, bonus structure, and comprehensive benefits.
  • A company vehicle and mobile phone.
  • A long-term career path with opportunities for advancement in service, sales, or management.
  • Access to cutting-edge training programs in the industry.
  • Support from a dedicated technical service team.
  • A workplace culture that prioritizes safety, including training and personal protective measures.
  • The opportunity to take pride in working for a company that contributes to clean water, safe food, abundant energy, and healthy environments.

Territory/Location Information:

  • This role is based in North West England with flexible location options.
  • The territory encompasses a 150-mile radius around the surrounding area.
  • Target accounts are primarily within the Institutional, Food and Beverage (including Dairy and Alcohol), and Light Manufacturing sectors.
  • Some overnight travel may be required, though not frequently.

As a trusted partner, your clients will depend on you for their success. Ecolab is dedicated to your success and offers innovative training programs to ensure you are equipped to address any customer challenges.

Training sessions typically occur in the field and at Ecolab's European Headquarters; travel arrangements are managed and funded by Ecolab. Depending on your experience and skill level, training topics may include technology, product knowledge, service, business acumen, direct coaching, sales management, leadership, classroom training, and certifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in technical sales or field sales support.
  • A valid Driver's License and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry). Other degrees may also be considered.
  • Experience in the water treatment or specialty chemical industry.
  • Familiarity with boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems is essential.
