Lead Client Relationship Manager

In this position, you will utilize your technical knowledge, sales expertise, and strategic approach to drive growth, enhance profitability, and mentor emerging sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Growth: Meet and surpass profit sales objectives while expanding and nurturing our customer base. Concentrate on high-potential opportunities and optimize pricing strategies for profitability.
- Client Engagement: Communicate H.B. Fuller's value proposition tailored to address client needs. Cultivate and sustain robust client relationships to ensure loyalty and minimize attrition.
- Technical Support: Offer expert insights and knowledge to clients, collaborating closely with Application Specialists to deliver exceptional service levels.
- Strategic Sales: Employ value-based selling techniques and tools to negotiate pricing and margins. Stay updated on market dynamics and leverage this knowledge to be a strategic ally for clients.
- Operational Excellence: Adhere to all EHS standards, utilize sales processes effectively, and consistently manage time between existing and prospective business opportunities.
- Reporting & Communication: Provide timely updates and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Understand and navigate the competitive landscape to position H.B. Fuller advantageously.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor entry-level and new sales personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Qualifications:
- Education: A four-year college degree in a relevant field, preferably with a background in business and/or chemistry.
- Experience: External: A minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience, ideally in a related industry and B2B environment with a chemistry background. Internal: At least 5 years of relevant experience within H.B. Fuller, with a minimum of 3 years of successful performance in achieving sales and profit targets.
- Skills: Technical knowledge of products and services. Strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities. Capacity to manage and prioritize a diverse pipeline of opportunities. Proficient in utilizing sales tools and systems to enhance efficiency and results.
- Other: A valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.
