Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for all commercial inquiries.
  • Build and sustain robust relationships with significant national accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new growth opportunities within existing accounts to enhance market share.
  • Formulate and execute impactful sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue goals and increasing market presence.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of market trends, competitor actions, and customer requirements to foster business expansion.
  • Assume full P&L responsibility for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with the New Product Development (NPD) team to create and manage timelines for new products and projects, ensuring clear lines of accountability.
  • Support the NPD team in preparing presentations, ensuring accurate pricing and market data are included.
  • Monitor sales forecasts, actual performance, and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate with the Technical Team to manage and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of customer performance, including sales, profitability, new product introductions, and future objectives.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of the food industry.
  • Demonstrated success in National Account Management.
  • Understanding of the Wholesale market and experience working with end users.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strategic thinker capable of assessing market trends and crafting effective sales approaches.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
