Chester, Cheshire, United Kingdom Ecolab Full time

As a prominent player in the water solutions sector, we are dedicated to both sustaining and expanding our operations, and we need skilled professionals like you to assist us in safeguarding the planet's most essential resource.

Nalco Water, part of Ecolab, is in search of a Client Relationship Executive to join our leading sales force. In this role, you will oversee the revenue and profitable expansion of programs and services for both local and international major clients. By employing a consultative sales strategy, you will cultivate relationships with existing clients through the implementation of system assurance initiatives that align with their critical business objectives. With robust account management, you will also convert key competitive accounts and introduce innovative technologies to current clients.

This position is a Senior Client Relationship Executive for the North West England region. You will manage an account portfolio while collaborating closely with a dynamic team to conduct regular technical service visits for utility systems across Manufacturing, Food and Beverage, and Institutional sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) initiatives at each site, focusing on both organic growth and new prospects. Ensure compliance across the designated territory. Coordinate both internal and third-party activities at assigned customer locations. Provide support and mentorship within a small team. Develop and implement sales strategies to capture new opportunities within the existing client base and in major, competitively-held accounts, aiming to achieve defined profit growth targets. Approximately 30% of your time will be dedicated to sales activities, with the remainder focused on service and account management. Collaborate closely with large, strategic current and prospective clients to identify business needs and propose continuous improvement and innovation strategies that will enhance sales within the assigned territory. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within current and prospective clients, including executives at plants or facilities. Work alongside corporate managers to execute the global strategy as well as with local area managers. Engage in problem-solving by conducting system analyses, interpreting data, and providing written recommendations to ensure optimal customer operations. Work towards the approval of TCO opportunities. Exhibit the capability to stabilize at-risk business within large, strategic accounts.

Benefits:

Join a growing organization offering a competitive base salary, bonus structure, and comprehensive benefits. Company vehicle and mobile phone provided. Opportunities for long-term career advancement in service, sales, or management. Access to the industry's most innovative training programs. Support from a dedicated technical service team. A culture that prioritizes safety, including training and personal protective measures. Take pride in working for a company that ensures clean water, safe food, abundant energy, and healthy environments.

Territory Information:

This role is based in North West England with a flexible location. The territory encompasses approximately a 150-mile radius of the surrounding area. Target accounts span the Institutional, Food and Beverage (including Dairy and Alcohol), and Light Manufacturing sectors. Some, but infrequent, overnight travel may be required.

As a trusted partner, your clients will depend on you for their success. Nalco Water is committed to your success and offers innovative training programs to prepare you for any customer challenge.

Training sessions typically occur in the field and at Nalco Water's European Headquarters in the Netherlands; travel expenses are covered by Nalco Water. Depending on your experience and skill level, training topics may include technology, product knowledge, service, business acumen, direct coaching and mentoring, sales management, leadership, classroom training, and certifications.

If applicable, relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree. Five years of experience in technical sales or field sales support. Valid Driver's License and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry); other degrees will be considered. Experience in the water treatment or specialty chemical sector. Familiarity with boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems is essential.

About Nalco Water:

In a world facing increasing water scarcity and contamination challenges, Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, assists clients in conserving over 161 billion gallons of water annually. We collaborate with customers globally across light industries (institutional, food & beverage, transportation, and manufacturing), heavy industries (chemical, power, and primary metals), as well as paper and mining operations to reduce, reuse, and recycle water while safeguarding their systems and equipment. Nalco Water offers a unique opportunity to engage with a wide array of technologies to provide automated monitoring systems, data analysis, and deep technical expertise to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and performance for our clients.

Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:

At Ecolab, we believe that the best teams are diverse and inclusive. We are on a journey to create a workplace where every associate can grow and achieve their best. We are committed to fair and equal treatment of associates and applicants. We recruit, hire, promote, transfer, and provide opportunities for advancement based on individual qualifications and job performance.
