Role Overview

This position is accountable for spearheading GFS (including related Capital Markets & Treasury) new business development across Continental Europe, encompassing both established locations (i.e. Switzerland, Nordics, Netherlands, Luxembourg) and emerging markets (i.e. Spain, Portugal, Italy, etc.). Reporting directly to the Head of GFO EMEA and APAC, the incumbent will also serve as a permanent member of the GFO EMEA Executive Committee. This leadership role within the Sales function will involve building a sales team to support anticipated growth in business development throughout Continental Europe. Responsibilities will include managing personnel, overseeing hiring processes, conducting performance evaluations, making compensation decisions, and fostering development.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities for GFO EMEA Sales include:

Leading EMEA GFO Wealth Strategists/Targets as the GFO Sales Team Leader Overseeing EMEA Sales Associates to ensure the success of Wealth Strategists Contributing to the GFO growth strategy and directing GFO new business initiatives Being accountable for achieving a new business sales target exceeding $5m (with a personal contribution of $1m+ as a player/coach) Collaborating with the GFO Regional MD, EMEA & APAC to maximize business growth and efficiency Directing and managing regional Sales campaigns (e.g., UK/CE) Leading regional Marketing & Events in partnership with the GFO Head of Relationship Management EMEA Coordinating the strategy and relationships with Centres of Influence (COIs) Supporting Product development to enhance competitiveness (e.g., Alternatives) in collaboration with the GFO Head of Asset Servicing

In addition to the above GFO EMEA Sales responsibilities, this role will also encompass specific business development activities for the United Kingdom (UK) and Switzerland (CH):

Collaborating with the GFO Executive Leadership team to expand the existing client base in both jurisdictions Being accountable for annual UK and Swiss Net Business Targets

Required Knowledge:

Growth strategy and strategic planning Client Retention and Growth Business development Leading and managing sales campaigns Product development Developing and maintaining client relationships Event planning and organization Building, managing, and developing teams

Required Experience:

A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial sales Proven management experience
