About the Role

Brightcove is a leading provider of cloud-based video services, and we're seeking an experienced Sales Leader to join our team in EMEA. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that drives revenue growth and expands our customer base in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with Brightcove's overall business objectives
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product, to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners in the EMEA region
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to inform sales strategy and optimize results
  • Collaborate with the sales operations team to ensure effective sales processes and methodologies are in place
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy and stay ahead of the competition
Requirements
  • 8-10+ years of senior sales management experience, preferably in a software or enterprise platform sales company
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of developing and leading high-performing sales teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales performance metrics and develop data-driven insights to inform sales strategy
  • Domain expertise in ad-supported media/video use cases is highly preferred
