Eurobase is evolving its operational methodologies, transitioning towards Agile and Lean frameworks. We are seeking a dynamic Product Owner to enhance our premier (re)insurance platform for an expanding clientele.

In this role, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of engineers, analysts, and various stakeholders to refine and expand our Synergy2 platform, ensuring exceptional outcomes for both new and existing clients. As we advance our capabilities, you will engage with cutting-edge technologies, including AI and Data Lakes, among other innovations.

This opportunity is ideal for a driven individual who has established their career as a Product Owner and is eager to take the next step. You should be organized, focused, and passionate about delivering high-quality products to discerning clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Delivery: Implement the product vision and respond to client-driven requests as part of the Engineering Management Team.
  • Backlog Management: Collaborate with client representatives across various disciplines to assess potential requirements and prioritize product enhancements, change requests, and bug fixes. You will oversee backlog management to ensure that each team focuses on the most valuable and impactful tasks.
  • Knowledge & Clarification: Gather feature requests, working with stakeholders to translate requirements into user stories. Facilitate direct discussions between clients, subject matter experts, and engineers when necessary.
  • Quality Assurance: Partner with testing and software engineers to establish acceptance criteria and user experience objectives. Ensure that features meet user expectations and are ready for UAT and production.
  • Stay Connected: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other Agile ceremonies with development teams.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to stay informed about current developments and understand future directions and demands.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within software development.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with Software Development Teams to decompose work following I.N.V.E.S.T. guidelines.
  • Familiarity with product backlog management tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth understanding of Agile and Lean software development principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining product lifecycle documentation, including SWOTs and Value Analysis.
