Senior Product Marketing Manager – Tensilica IP

The Senior Product Marketing Manager is accountable for the management and promotion of Cadence's current and future generations of Tensilica extensible processor intellectual property. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of embedded processors tailored for automotive, IoT, and mobile applications. Familiarity with DSP architectures, embedded software, and Artificial Intelligence/deep learning applications is advantageous.

This role will collaborate with clients, sales, and engineering teams to ensure product success in the marketplace. The individual will collect market requirements, identify market trends, assess competition, and outline future product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Propel product success by ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering comprehensive products, including necessary documentation, software libraries, real-time operating systems, demonstration platforms, competitive assessments, and marketing initiatives such as trade shows, blogs, and articles. Oversee significant customer programs within Cadence, generating competitive positioning and strategies for success. Discover new opportunities and define future product specifications for Tensilica's extensible processor technology, focusing on automotive, IoT, and mobile sectors. Organize and prioritize product enhancement requests by collaborating closely with marketing, engineering, and sales teams. Advocate for, author, and coordinate regular updates to field applications engineering and sales teams regarding new technologies and industry trends.

Position Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including engineering, applications engineering, or marketing in areas such as embedded processor architectures, SOC design, and the use of processor IP, as well as embedded software tools (C/C++ compilers, debuggers, RTOS). A working knowledge of Digital Signal Processors and/or Machine Learning is preferred. Understanding of embedded CPU marketing, particularly ARM and RISC-V. Proficiency in C/C++ programming is highly desired. Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams. A strong sense of initiative, ability to work independently, and a results-oriented mindset are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Preference will be given to US Citizens or Permanent Residents.

When feasible, occasional travel to engage with customers and support events, including international travel, may be necessary.
