Position: Senior Product Marketing Manager – Tensilica IP

The Senior Product Marketing Manager is accountable for the strategic management and promotion of Cadence's existing and forthcoming Tensilica extensible processor intellectual property. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of embedded processors applicable to automotive, IoT, and mobile sectors. Familiarity with DSP architectures, embedded software, and applications in Artificial Intelligence and deep learning is advantageous.

This role involves collaboration with clients, sales, and engineering teams to ensure product success in the marketplace. The individual will collect market insights, identify trends, evaluate competitors, and define future product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive product success by ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering comprehensive products, including necessary collateral, software libraries, real-time operating systems, demo platforms, competitive assessments, and marketing initiatives such as trade shows and publications.
  • Oversee significant customer programs within Cadence, developing competitive positioning and strategies for success.
  • Identify new market opportunities and outline future product specifications for Tensilica's extensible processor technology, focusing on automotive, IoT, and mobile applications.
  • Coordinate and prioritize product enhancement requests through direct collaboration with marketing, engineering, and sales teams.
  • Champion and author regular updates for field applications engineering and sales teams regarding new technologies and industry advancements.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, including engineering, applications engineering, or marketing in areas such as embedded processor architectures, SOC design, and embedded software tools (C/C++ compilers, debuggers, RTOS).
  • Desirable working knowledge of Digital Signal Processors and/or Machine Learning.
  • Understanding of embedded CPU marketing, particularly with ARM and RISC-V architectures.
  • Strong familiarity with C/C++ programming is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Exhibit a high degree of personal initiative, independence, and a proactive, results-oriented approach.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Preference will be given to U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel to engage with customers and support events, including international travel, may be necessary.
