Position: Senior Product Marketing Manager – Tensilica IP

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will oversee the product management and marketing strategies for Cadence's cutting-edge Tensilica extensible processor IP. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of embedded processors applicable to automotive, IoT, and mobile technology. Familiarity with DSP architectures, embedded software, and applications in Artificial Intelligence and deep learning will be advantageous.

This role involves collaboration with customers, sales, and engineering teams to ensure product success in the marketplace. The individual will be responsible for gathering market insights, identifying trends, analyzing competitors, and defining future product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive product success by ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering comprehensive products, including necessary collateral, software libraries, real-time operating systems, demo platforms, competitive analysis, and marketing initiatives such as trade shows and publications.
  • Manage significant customer programs within Cadence, developing competitive positioning and strategies for success.
  • Identify new market opportunities and outline future product requirements for Tensilica's extensible processor technology, focusing on automotive, IoT, and mobile sectors.
  • Coordinate and prioritize product enhancement requests by collaborating with marketing, engineering, and sales teams.
  • Lead, draft, and manage regular communications to field applications engineering and sales teams regarding new technologies and industry advancements.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, applications engineering, or marketing in areas such as embedded processor architectures, SOC design, or embedded software tools (C/C++ compilers, debuggers, RTOS).
  • Working knowledge of Digital Signal Processors and/or Machine Learning is preferred.
  • Understanding of embedded CPU marketing, particularly ARM and RISC-V.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong personal initiative and the ability to work independently; high energy and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Preference for U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel to engage with customers and support events, including international travel, may be necessary.
