About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Sales and Events to join our team at Apex Hotels. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the MICE Sales Team: Manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute sales plans to target new business opportunities and expand existing relationships.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage Sales Operations: Oversee the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, and conversion.
  • Analyse Sales Performance: Monitor and analyse sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and Implement Sales Training: Provide training and development opportunities to sales team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
Requirements
  • Proven Sales Experience: A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of sales professionals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Business Acumen: A deep understanding of the hospitality industry and the ability to develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.
