Job Summary:

The Regional Business Development Manager will play a key role in shaping the company's strategy to penetrate the markets and build strong relationships with distributors and clients to drive business growth in the biopharma industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Market Strategy: Propose and execute a comprehensive market strategy based on in-depth analysis of market trends, competition, customer behavior, and the company's current situation.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with local distributors and critical customers, providing timely training and solutions to improve the customer base and brand exposure.
  • Distributor Management: Assist the team leader in establishing a system for local distributor management and evaluation, including evaluating potential distributors and setting annual sales goals.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing activities, such as proposing and executing events, screening media and promotion platforms, and coordinating internal resources for speaking engagements.
  • Industry Knowledge and Networking: Attend industry trade shows and events to expand knowledge and networks.
  • Sales Performance: Achieve sales income that meets agreed targets in regional markets.
  • Sales Reporting: Create and update sales status reports, including identified contacts, leads, and confirmed sales through direct and distributor channels.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree or above, preferably in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven 5 years of experience as a Business Development or Marketing and Sales Executive in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Skills: Self-motivated, ability to work independently, high-level problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication skills, effective time management, and high business acumen.
