About the Role:

Perry Ellis International, a leading global lifestyle apparel company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to lead our golf apparel business in the Midlands region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, and ensuring the successful execution of our sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives and drives sales growth in the Midlands region.
  • Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the Midlands region, including golf retailers, distributors, and other industry partners.
  • Product Training and Merchandising: Provide product training and merchandising support to customers to ensure they have a thorough understanding of our golf apparel products and can effectively promote them to their customers.
  • Territory Management: Manage the sales territory to ensure that all customers are visited regularly and that sales opportunities are maximized.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular sales reports and analysis to the management team to inform business decisions and drive sales growth.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with the company's overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven Sales Experience: A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the golf apparel industry, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and developing strong customer relationships.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to create and analyze sales reports and presentations.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
