Torque Consulting is seeking a dedicated Procurement Coordinator to join our esteemed team. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional development and the potential to advance into a senior procurement role.

Position Overview: As a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our purchasing operations, ensuring the effective sourcing and acquisition of essential materials for our production processes. You will work closely with suppliers, engage in contract negotiations, and oversee inventory management to guarantee timely delivery of products while optimizing cost efficiency. Your meticulous attention to detail and strategic approach will be vital in enhancing our procurement procedures and fostering continuous improvement.

Key Duties:

  • Manage all procurement functions related to the acquisition of goods, materials, and supplies to support operational requirements, ensuring competitive pricing and high-quality standards.
  • Input orders into the MRP system and generate product codes as required.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to improve lead times and ensure prompt delivery.
  • Create Purchase Orders (PO) based on confirmed orders and internal schedules.
  • Track PO progress, address any delays, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with inventory management to maintain sufficient stock levels, ensuring seamless service delivery.

Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
