Position Overview: As a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our sourcing and procurement operations, ensuring the effective acquisition of materials vital for our production processes. You will work closely with suppliers, engage in contract negotiations, and oversee inventory management to guarantee timely delivery of goods while optimizing cost efficiency. Your meticulous attention to detail and strategic approach will be key in enhancing our procurement processes and fostering continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all procurement activities related to the acquisition of goods, materials, and consumables to support the Engineering team's operational needs, ensuring competitive pricing, high-quality standards, and compliance with company protocols and customer requirements.
  • Process orders through the MRP system and establish product codes as required.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain to enhance lead times and ensure prompt delivery.
  • Generate Purchase Orders (PO) based on confirmed customer requests and internal project timelines.
  • Monitor PO progress, address any delays, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders and systems.
  • Coordinate with inventory management to maintain sufficient stock levels, ensuring the company can deliver efficient service to its clients.
