About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at MJ Quinn. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing our procurement activities and driving strategic initiatives to improve our supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement procurement strategies to optimize tender margins and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Interpret technical drawings, reports, and specifications to ensure accurate product and service procurement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders, reports, and records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Liaise with site teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of plant and materials.
  • Review and negotiate quotes to secure competitive rates and terms.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the procurement function.
Requirements
  • Construction qualification of CIPS or equivalent.
  • 10 years' experience in procurement planning and delivering project supply chain.
  • MEP experience and exposure to the M&E sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Policy compliance and team development expertise.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate requirements of project teams, suppliers, and clients.
  • DBS check and legal right to work in the UK.
