About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Acorn Insurance. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement to payment process, from managing purchasing and vendor relationships to ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to drive cost savings and process improvements.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure best value for the company.
  • Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize procurement processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in procurement and accounts payable management.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive business decisions.
  • Experience with MS Office and accounting systems.
