Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Cadogan, A Belmond Hotel. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Registration: Register guests, collect necessary information, and assign rooms.
  • Reservation Management: Manage online and phone reservations, inform customers about payment methods, and verify credit card data.
  • Customer Service: Welcome guests, provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities, and respond to client complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Housekeeping Coordination: Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs.
  • Group Reservations: Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees.
  • Upselling: Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
Requirements:
  • Work Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with hotel reservations software and understanding of how travel planning websites operate.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, customer service attitude, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eligibility: Must have the right to work and live in the UK (work visa, pre-settled or settled status).
