About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team at TRCGroup. As a Deputy Care Home Manager, you will play a vital role in assisting the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the provision of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Home Manager in managing the care home's operations, including overseeing the care staff and assuming full management in their absence.
  • Train and supervise care staff in all aspects of their work, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct pre-admission assessments of residents, ensuring that their care plans and daily records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Foster effective communication with residents' families and other organizations, ensuring that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
  • Develop and implement care programs that promote ownership and involvement of service users and their families.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager or in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with service users, families, and external care professionals.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, families, and external partners.
