Job Summary:
Meridian Business Support Limited is currently recruiting for a Residential Deputy Manager - Care Operations Specialist for a national private healthcare provider. As a key member of the management team, you will assist in managing operations within the home to achieve goals and ensure high-quality care provision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing daily operations, including overseeing care staff and assuming full management in the absence of the Home Manager.
  • Train and supervise care staff in all aspects of their work, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to conduct pre-admission assessments of residents, ensuring accurate and up-to-date care plans and daily records.
  • Foster effective communication with residents, families, and external organizations, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with care professionals, families, and staffing teams, ensuring seamless care delivery.

Requirements:
  • Previous Deputy Home Manager experience, with a minimum of Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with service users and their families.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
  • Ability to promote ownership of care programs, involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care plans.
