An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Care Home Manager to work in a residential care home based in the Diss, Norfolk area. You will be working for a leading healthcare provider.

This care home provides care and support to residential, respite, and dementia individuals.

To be considered for this position, you must have an NVQ/QCF Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care.

As the Deputy Manager, your key duties include:

  • Support the Home Manager and deal with the day-to-day running of the home in their absence.
  • Manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements.
  • Ensure service users receive the highest standards of professional support, promoting growth and independence.
  • Promote ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs.

The following skills and experience would be beneficial for the role:

  • The ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care services.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £35,000 per annum. This position is a permanent full-time role for 40 hours a week, working through day shifts.
