Deputy Care Home Manager Job Opportunity

An exciting new role has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Care Home Manager to work in a leading residential care home based in the Diss, Norfolk area. You will be working for a reputable healthcare provider.

This exceptional care home provides care and support to residential, respite, and residential dementia individuals.

Requirements:

  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager and manage the day-to-day running of the home in their absence
  • Manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements
  • Ensure service users receive the highest standards of professional support, promoting growth and independence
  • Promote ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams
