Job Summary:

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Care Home Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the care home, working closely with the Home Manager to ensure the highest standards of care and support are delivered to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager in the absence of the Home Manager and take charge of the day-to-day running of the care home.
  • Manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements, ensuring compliance and excellence in care delivery.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to develop and implement care programs that promote growth, independence, and quality of life for our residents.
  • Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving residents and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care plans.

Requirements:

  • Hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care.
  • Have a good working knowledge of CQC standards and be able to apply them in practice.
  • Be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.
