About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team at TRCGroup. As a Deputy Care Home Manager, you will play a vital role in the management of our care home, assisting in the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of care home operations to ensure the provision of high-quality care and services.
  • Oversee the care staff and assume full management responsibilities in the absence of the Home Manager.
  • Train and supervise care staff in all aspects of their work, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct pre-admission assessments of residents, ensuring that their care plans and daily records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Foster effective communication with residents' families and other organizations, ensuring that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with residents, families, and staff.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external care professionals, families, and staffing teams.
  • Ability to promote ownership of care programs and involve residents and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care plans.
