Position: Senior Building Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee client relationships and ensure exceptional service delivery on a project-by-project basis.
  • Manage project execution and contract administration for larger initiatives.
  • Conduct condition assessments and measured surveys.
  • Design and implement small to medium-scale projects.
  • Perform due diligence assessments.
  • Utilize standard building contract frameworks, including JCT and NEC.
  • Analyze defects, conduct building surveys, and generate professional reports and specifications.
  • Mentor and guide junior Building Consultants while actively participating in the APC program.
  • Apply principles of quality, safety, and environmental management in project oversight.
  • Engage in networking to cultivate business opportunities.
  • Provide comprehensive project management services.

Qualifications:

  • BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or a RICS accredited equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in surveying with strong client-facing and business development skills.
  • Proven track record in both pre and post-contract project management responsibilities.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to foster a profitable service and a high-performing team culture.
  • Proficient in IT, particularly in Word and Excel, with the ability to create, edit, and format documents effectively.
