About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Automation Engineer to join our team at Sage Lake Senior Living. As a key member of our global facilities services team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing building automation systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of design drawings and specifications for building automation systems, including HVAC control systems and energy management systems.
  • Coordinate with mechanical and electrical design teams to develop sequences of operations and point lists for building automation systems.
  • Create engineering drawings for control panel and field wiring designs, including installation details and bill of materials.
  • Manage quality reviews of project submittals and ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.
  • Review and approve vendor and subconsultant drawings, including sequences of operation, points lists, engineering drawings, and test scripts.
  • Participate in software bench tests, software factory acceptance tests, and equipment factory witness tests.
  • Provide technical assistance during commissioning at project sites.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and 7 years of experience in I&C or mechanical HVAC engineering.
  • Experience designing building automation systems for large and complex projects.
  • Field experience in installation, commissioning, and/or troubleshooting of building automation systems in buildings.
  • Proficient with business and engineering applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and drawing production from Revit.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) in Mechanical or I&C preferred or Incorporated Engineer (IEng) in Mechanical or I&C preferred.
