Job Overview

The Revenue Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the onboarding and evaluation of partners, safeguarding data accuracy, and enhancing revenue channels.

This position necessitates close cooperation with Data Product, Paid Marketing, and Business Development teams, as well as external partners, and reports directly to the Head of Revenue Operations.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Partner Onboarding and Evaluation
    • Oversee the onboarding procedure for new partners through our project management system and collaborate closely with external parties and internal teams.
    • Conduct periodic evaluations to ensure adherence to standards and data accuracy.
    • Identify and rectify issues related to erroneous data implementation and tracking.
  • Data Accuracy and Analysis
    • Work alongside Data Product, Analytics, and Marketing teams to uphold data precision and integrity.
    • Advocate for more secure and efficient data ingestion methods with partners, such as transitioning from email ingestion to real-time API or SFTP.
  • Revenue Operations Assistance
    • Support Marketing, Data & Analytics, and Business Development teams in addressing data pipeline challenges to drive revenue growth. Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to facilitate automated reporting processes through advertiser integrations.
    • Compile and present regular performance reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to senior management, including metrics such as the percentage of partners and revenue ingested, along with other key indicators to assess data health and overall performance.
    • Respond to inquiries from various departments, including but not limited to Data Product, Marketing, and Business Development.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration
    • Act as the intermediary between partners, internal teams, and senior management.
    • Ensure effective communication and project updates among all stakeholders using our project management system. This includes coordinating with Sales, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams, and liaising with technical contacts from external advertisers.
    • Capable of training internal teams on effectively utilizing these platforms for affiliate marketing, including creating guidelines, best practices, and providing insights to enhance affiliate partnerships.
  • Advertiser and Technical Team Collaboration
    • Engage closely with advertisers and their technical teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of data tracking.
    • Communicate technical requirements and troubleshoot issues with advertiser systems to maintain accurate tracking and reporting.
    • Ensure all outbound links contain the correct Tracking IDs and verify that sales data feeds include tracking IDs to optimize tracking capabilities.
    • Proficient in using platforms like Share A Sale, Commission Junction, Impact, Rakuten, and Partnerize to maximize partnership opportunities and revenue, including setting up programs, tracking performance data, and managing payouts.
  • Issue Identification and Resolution
    • Regularly assess data projects and partner tracking to identify and rectify issues, discrepancies, or incorrect implementations.
    • Collaborate with technical and Paid Marketing teams for timely issue resolution.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Solid understanding of data.
  • Fundamental knowledge of affiliate marketing and data integration, including collaboration with technical teams such as data engineering.
  • Familiarity with SFTP, API, Email, and other data ingestion formats, along with an understanding of the integration processes involved.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
