Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Matron to lead our ED and Patient Flow team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of patient flow, managing capacity and demand, and overseeing key performance indicators.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in senior management, with experience in leading teams and managing budgets. You will be responsible for developing and implementing policies related to patient flow and emergency care, as well as monitoring and validating ED performance data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Clinical Site Team, including accountability for budgets and policy development
  • Develop and implement emergency care pathways across the site
  • Manage complex and challenging situations, demonstrating exemplary interpersonal skills
  • Oversee key performance indicators, including ED performance and national initiatives
