Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Matron to lead our Patient Flow and Emergency Department teams. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patients through our emergency department and across our healthcare system.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and patient flow, with experience in managing complex systems and leading high-performing teams. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve patient flow, reducing waiting times and improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Patient Flow and Emergency Department teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes and high-quality care
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient flow, reduce waiting times and improve patient satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Monitor and analyze patient flow data to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted solutions
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to deliver excellent care
