About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate individual to join our Radiology team as a Radiology Patient Navigator. This exciting opportunity will involve coordinating between Radiologists, Nursing Staff, Radiographers, Support Staff, and Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Coordinators to ensure efficient and timely procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging and undertaking urgent and 2-week rule procedures, as well as being a central point of contact for all enquiries related to cancer pathways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate between Radiologists, Nursing Staff, Radiographers, Support Staff, and MDT Coordinators to ensure efficient and timely procedures.
  • Arrange and undertake urgent and 2-week rule procedures.
  • Be a central point of contact for all enquiries related to cancer pathways.
  • Work independently and on own initiative.
  • Be proficient in the use of Excel and Word, with experience of hospital IT systems desirable but training can be provided.
