About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Client Director to join our team in London. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with large global insurance clients, including syndicates, insurers, MGA's, and brokers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain existing client relationships, identifying opportunities to grow the client panel and increase revenue.
  • New Business Development: Identify and locate new potential clients, pursuing leads to bring on new business and expand our client base.
  • Tender and Bid Opportunities: Liaise with wider sales teams to assist with tender and bid opportunities, ensuring our clients' needs are met.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with changes in the market, ensuring our clients receive the best possible service.
  • Target Client Strategies: Create and deliver target client strategies, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Market Events: Attend and host market events, building relationships with clients and industry professionals.

Requirements:

  • Insurance Industry Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in client/account management and development within the insurance industry.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work with minimal supervision, as an individual and as part of a team.
  • Positive Attitude: A proactive approach to solving problems, with a strong customer-focused mindset.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to handle multiple projects in a speedy and responsive manner, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrate a strong customer-focused approach at all times, ensuring the development and maintenance of contractor, customer, and client relationships.
  • Continuous Learning: Encourage, initiate, and/or conduct learning theory research to further knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
