The successful candidate will lead the strategic direction and delivery of our IT Audit requirements, overseeing the delivery of high-quality work and developing the team members working alongside them.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead IT Audit Engagements: Lead a team supporting a portfolio of IT audit engagements, working alongside the audit team to strategically plan the resources, audit scope, and project plan needed to deliver the External Audit requirements.
- Inspirational People Management: Inspire, coach, and develop the team, developing and overseeing training programs to ensure skills remain current and relevant.
- Exceptional Client Service Delivery: Deliver exceptional client service, bringing ideas to enhance our delivery and acting as a point of escalation throughout an engagement with respect to project delivery matters.
- Innovation: Contribute to the development of methodologies and guidance for internal use.
- Growing the Business: Support our business development activity, leading bids and tender activities, developing deep internal networks and relationships.
- Act as an Ambassador: Act as an ambassador of the firm, participate in marketing events, keep abreast of the wide range of services the firm offers, and suggest innovative products and services.
- Personal Development: Continue to bring the latest Technology insights to the Partner and Director community, our clients, and share knowledge with the teams.
- IT General Controls & Business Process Control Activities: Develop and implement IT general controls and business process control activities.
- Integrating Controls Testing and Data Analytics: Integrate controls testing and data analytics into an external audit approach.
- Cyber Risk Management and Business Resilience: Develop and implement cyber risk management and business resilience strategies.
- IT System Implementation Risks and Controls: Identify and mitigate IT system implementation risks and controls.
- IT Governance and IT Compliance Reviews: Conduct IT governance and IT compliance reviews.
- Service Auditor Reporting: Develop and implement service auditor reporting.
- Experience: Proven experience in IT audit and controls, with a strong background in IT general controls and business process control activities.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
