The Clinical Trial Coordinator position is a pivotal role requiring prior experience in healthcare settings, particularly in acute or hospital environments. Candidates must possess exceptional communication abilities and demonstrate a strong command of the English language.

Available Units:

· Surgical Trauma Assessment Unit: Specializes in the initial evaluation of patients referred by general practitioners or the Emergency Department.

· Acute Surgical Ward: Focuses on thoracic, head, and neck surgeries, offering a unique opportunity to care for patients post-major surgical procedures.

· Short Stay Surgical Unit: A dynamic environment catering to patients before and after surgical interventions.

Work Schedule:

Our commitment to patient care spans every day of the week, necessitating flexibility in shift patterns, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Additional pay enhancements may be available based on your shift and hours worked.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Clinical Trial Coordinator, you will engage in direct patient care while upholding the privacy and dignity of individuals. Collaborating with registered nurses, you will provide essential nursing support to patients, assisting with daily living activities such as hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Offering emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Conducting one-on-one observations for patients at high clinical risk.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe ward environment to prevent infections and falls.
  • Recording and monitoring patients' vital signs, promptly escalating any changes in condition to the registered nurse.
  • Training and mentoring new and junior team members, including student nurses, once proficient.
