About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Trial Coordinator to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). As a key member of our clinical trials unit, you will play a vital role in providing trial coordination and data management support for cancer clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate potential studies coming through the BHOC Trial Steering Group process, in addition to maintaining the existing delegated portfolio.
  • Communicate with relevant support departments and gain approval for study setup and maintenance.
  • Obtain all relevant Health Research Authority (HRA) submission documents from sponsors to submit for local approval.
  • Compile and return requests for data regarding radiology equipment and quality.
  • Coordinate study initiation and ensure appropriate contracts are obtained, agreed, and signed by all relevant Trust departments.
Requirements
  • Previous clinical trial coordination related experience.
  • Previous research experience.
  • Familiarity and/or previous experience of medical terminology.

Person Specification
