About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Coordinator to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). As a key member of our Women's and Children's Division, you will play a vital role in managing appointments and booking activities across our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication: Support the triaging of referrals by liaising with clinical staff, manage patient communications, and act as a point of contact for queries from clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Patient Care: Demonstrate a caring and professional approach towards patients, relatives, and carers, and communicate changes to clinics and appointments as instructed.
  • Organising and Planning: Implement the policy for patients who do not attend their appointments, manage and monitor outstanding appointment requests, and ensure clinic lists are effectively utilised.
Requirements
  • Clerical/administrative experience, including filing and/or reception.
  • Experience of dealing with the public, both on the telephone and in person.
  • Effective and polite manner when dealing with people, both face-to-face and on the phone.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
