Position Overview

Role: Assistant Facilities Manager

Salary: £40,000 - £43,000, with 28 days of holiday including bank holidays.

Job Responsibilities

As an Assistant Facilities Manager, you will be integral to the operations of prestigious commercial office buildings. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Regular communication with clients, overseeing contractors, conducting building inspections, and ensuring timely escalation of maintenance concerns.
  • Performing building walkthroughs to identify potential maintenance issues, coordinating with engineers, scheduling subcontractor work, issuing permits, and logging tasks through the CAFM system. You will also keep clients and stakeholders informed about job progress while adhering to service level agreements.
  • Providing support for minor repairs throughout the site.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess experience in Facilities Management, ideally in roles such as workplace coordinator, facilities assistant, team leader, or supervisor.

  • While building service-related qualifications are advantageous, they are not mandatory.
