Your Role

We are in search of dedicated personnel to join our lively Activities and Events department within a year-round institution for international students. Cultural Activities Coordinators assist the Activities and Events Manager in planning and executing a diverse array of activities, excursions, and events for our student community. This is a part-time role with potential for permanent full-time positions in the future, offering up to 30 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities

  • Guide groups of international students through various activities and day trips.
  • Foster an engaging atmosphere during excursions while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure the health and safety of all students by completing and adhering to risk assessments and managing emergency situations in accordance with EF policies.
  • Research excursion locations, lead guided tours, and provide students with interesting insights and facts.
  • Collaborate with co-leaders and the Activities and Events Manager to enhance future activities and provide comprehensive handovers after each event.
  • Assist the Activities and Events Manager with larger events.
  • Ensure adherence to the EF behavior code by all students and promptly report any issues to management.

Requirements

  • Highly motivated, energetic, and positive with a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
  • Confident in leading and managing groups of students.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented, capable of using initiative and working independently.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
  • Customer service-oriented with a focus on quality.
  • Understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity.
  • Excellent communication skills with students, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Flexibility in work hours is essential.
  • All offers are contingent upon a clear enhanced DBS check and two references.
  • Right to work in the UK.
