About the Role:
Daytime Healthcare Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent National Children's Residential Organization seeking dedicated Youth Justice Support Workers.

Position Details:
We offer both full-time and part-time positions, with opportunities for day or night shifts. Overtime and holiday work are compensated at time and a half.

Compensation:
The starting salary for this role is £27,352 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct support and care to young individuals aged 16 to 17 years.
- Ensure the safety of young people through effective collaboration with external agencies and emergency services, adhering to local authority safeguarding protocols.
- Work in partnership with local authorities to mitigate youth offending behaviors and assist in fulfilling court mandates.
- Maintain a trauma-informed atmosphere within the residential setting at all times.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Possess a relevant qualification in Social Work, Probation, Youth Justice, or Youth Work.
- Have a minimum of one year’s experience working with at-risk youth.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the challenges faced by young individuals.
- Exhibit the ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
- Possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Be flexible in working shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the barriers and challenges faced by non-white youth within the criminal justice system.
