Position Overview:
Daytime Healthcare Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent National Children's Residential Organization seeking dedicated Youth Justice Support Workers to provide essential care and guidance.

Employment Type:
Full-time and part-time positions available, with options for day or night shifts.

Compensation:
Starting salary of £27,352 per annum, with overtime and bank holiday pay at time and a half.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct support and care to young individuals aged 16 to 17 years.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of young people through effective collaboration with external agencies and emergency services, adhering to local authority safeguarding protocols.
- Work in partnership with local authorities to mitigate offending behaviors and assist young people in fulfilling their court mandates.
- Maintain a trauma-informed atmosphere within the residential setting at all times.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Possess a relevant qualification in Social Work, Probation, Youth Justice, or Youth Work.
- Have a minimum of one year’s experience working with at-risk youth.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the challenges faced by young individuals.
- Exhibit the ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
- Showcase strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Be flexible in working shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the barriers and challenges faced by non-white youth within the criminal justice framework.
