As a Product Management Associate, you will take charge of a strategic Patent Renewals product line, playing a crucial role in its development and future direction. Your responsibilities will include owning the product vision, outlining the roadmap, and ensuring its success through effective collaboration with various teams.

About You – qualifications, experience, and skills

  • 2-5 years of experience in product management or a related field within a software and services context.
  • Strong grasp of agile methodologies and familiarity with agile development practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Proven capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Intellectual Property is advantageous but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vision and Strategy: Develop the long-term roadmap for our platform, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and anticipating future requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on market demands, customer insights, and business objectives.
  • Create and maintain a clear and prioritized backlog of well-defined user stories, ensuring alignment with the overarching product strategy and roadmap.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and quality assurance, to deliver high-quality software and services on schedule and within budget.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring that user needs and expectations are integrated into the product development process.
  • Lead sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings, providing guidance and direction to the development team.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and enhancement.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success and impact of product releases.
  • Engage with customers to gather feedback that drives product improvements and iterates on existing features.
  • Foster a collaborative and transparent team culture, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.

About the Team

This position reports to the Senior Manager of Product Management and collaborates with a broader team of Product Managers within our Patent Renewals function, working alongside various stakeholders across the organization.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time, permanent position with a hybrid work model.
