Role Responsibilities

As the Product Manager for the Test Engine and Test Content Management System (TETCM), you will play a pivotal role within the Theory Test team. Your collaboration with team members will ensure that all service components align with the expectations of customers and stakeholders. You will also engage closely with fellow Product Managers and both internal and external partners.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the ongoing enhancement of the service provided by the TETCM supplier, ensuring a high-quality user experience for the Theory Test. You will coordinate with the supplier to establish a release timeline and develop a strategic roadmap for the TETCM service.

This position offers flexibility in work arrangements, allowing you to operate in a hybrid model. You will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of your time at your designated base location, with opportunities for visits to other operational sites.

Your Key Duties Will Include:

  • Facilitating the creation and approval of TETCM System release and deployment management plans in collaboration with stakeholders, proactively addressing any challenges that arise.
  • Leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of a cohesive user interface and Theory Test branding for the TETCM service.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and advancements in testing to inform continuous service improvement.
  • Exhibiting leadership by guiding team members to achieve objectives and serving as a role model in alignment with Civil Service values.

Strong communication skills are essential, enabling you to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will be adept at understanding their needs, documenting them clearly, and conveying them accurately to others.

You will actively monitor industry trends and developments to contribute to the ongoing enhancement of services, collaborating closely with the broader service team to design processes and provide constructive feedback.
