About the Role

We are seeking a Product Manager to help drive the growth strategy of our Passive Fire Protection product portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with manufacturing plants in EU/China and the Promat Platform Team to develop new products that meet current and future market needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a growth strategy for the Passive Fire Protection product portfolio, maximizing ongoing sustainable profitability.
  • Work closely with sales teams to ensure strong links between product management and sales, participating in customer visits and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of competitors and substitute products.
  • Monitor market developments and identify business opportunities and threats for the assigned product portfolio, including channels, regulations, new products, substitute materials, technology, and costs.
  • Analyze and report customer satisfaction and needs, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of competitor moves and actions.
  • Monitor the profitability of all products across the portfolio and assess the adequacy and consistency of the existing product range and marketing mix.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans for each product range, working closely with the UK marketing team and communication manager.

Requirements

  • Experience with Passive Fire Protection products within the UK.
  • Product management and/or commercial experience, with a strong background in Business-to-Business (B2B) environments.
  • A working knowledge of the construction industry and the routes to market.
  • An understanding of the importance of sales and customer relationships.
