About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Human Factors Engineer to join our team at Crux Product Design. As a key member of our Human Factors & Usability team, you will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and reporting of human factors and usability related projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead full usability programs to meet client and project objectives, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations and Crux standards.
  • Human Factors Expertise: Demonstrate expert understanding of Human Factors as a discipline, including user needs, best practices, and up-to-date regulatory frameworks.
  • Usability Advocacy: Take ownership of ensuring usability is at the core of product development, identifying needs, and actively supporting the resolution of challenges.
  • Business Development: Build trusted relationships with existing client accounts, pursue opportunities, and generate proposals in response to client communication.
  • Stakeholder Management: Deliver quality stakeholder management by confidently communicating the value of Human Factors and your work to colleagues and clients.
  • Team Development: Develop and mentor team members, identifying and pursuing personal development areas, and sharing new knowledge and skills with the team.
  • Process Improvement: Take responsibility for maintaining Crux's HF processes and keeping practices up-to-date, identifying and pursuing opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Educated in a human factors related subject (Product Design, Engineering, Psychology).
  • Experience: 2+ years applying human factors in a highly regulated sector.
