Job Overview

Crux Product Design is seeking a highly skilled Senior Human Factors Engineer to join our Human Factors & Usability team. As a Senior Human Factors Engineer, you will play a key role in planning, executing, and reporting on human factors and usability related projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full usability programs to meet client and project objectives, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations and Crux standards.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Human Factors as a discipline, including user needs, best practices, and up-to-date regulatory frameworks.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with existing client accounts, identifying opportunities for selling usability services and promoting Crux's Human Factors capabilities.
  • Deliver quality stakeholder management by effectively communicating the value of Human Factors and your work to colleagues and clients.
  • Promote awareness of usability within the business, contributing to the growth of Crux's in-house Human Factors capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities for team capability development and thought leadership to ensure Crux Human Factors' competitiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all company Health and Safety and Quality Management policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Educated in a human factors related subject (Product Design, Engineering, Psychology).
  • At least 2 years of experience applying human factors in a highly regulated sector.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience applying FDA human factors guidance and EU MDR requirements.
  • Conference speaking/publication experience.
  • CIEHF registered membership.
  • Consultancy experience.
  • Line management experience.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams for project delivery.
