We are seeking a highly skilled Human Factors Specialist to contribute to the development of complex systems across weapon system concepting, development, and research activities.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile and enthusiastic individual to undertake a full range of Human Factors tasks, integrating HF into hi-technology projects with diverse military user groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Human Factors Integration and Human Centred Design processes through the development lifecycle.
  • Analysis and assessment of the role of the human in complex systems, physical ergonomics, and integration into workspaces.
  • Human Computer Interface prototyping and design, and the conduct of user experiments and trials supporting system development.

Requirements:

  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors.
  • Demonstrable understanding and experience of the application of Human Factors Integration & Human Factors Engineering.
  • Human Computer Interface design expertise.
  • Relevant Engineering or Science based Degree.
  • Good understanding of Systems Engineering and disciplines who interact with Human Factors (Supportability, Training, Safety, Equipment).
