Human Factors Specialist

Holtec International, a global leader in clean energy solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Human Factors Engineer to join its multidisciplinary team designing the next generation nuclear power station. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the SMR-160 small modular reactor.
Key Responsibilities:- Derive human factors requirements and identify key HF standards and design guidance.
- Develop human factors integration plans and guidance documents.
- Conduct task and error analysis, verification and validation, and HRA and Human Based Safety Claims assessments.
- Deliver human factors assessments, documents, and plans, and help develop the HF chapter of the safety case for the SMR-160+ GDA.
- Coach and mentor team members to develop technical and personal skills.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external organizations, including nuclear regulators.
- Degree qualified in an engineering or science related discipline.
- Experience in human factors task and error analysis, HRA, and Human Based Safety Claims.
- Ability to work independently and balance competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Eligible to work under 10 CFR Part 810.
